Medical doctor · PhD
Dr Mike Zangenberg
Mike is a Danish medical doctor with more than 15 years’ experience in family medicine, travel health, vaccinations, and infectious and tropical diseases. His many years working in Africa bring valuable regional experience to his clinical practice. At ZanAid, his broad medical background supports care for everyday health concerns as well as illnesses encountered while travelling.

Dr Henrik Friis Juhl
Henrik is a Danish medical doctor and specialist in baromedicine who has led ZanAid Clinic for 15 years. With extensive experience in Zanzibar, he brings together local knowledge and a particular focus on diving and hyperbaric medicine. His work at ZanAid serves both the people who call the island home and those visiting from abroad.

Dr Jutta Jørgensen
Jutta is a Danish medical doctor and a longstanding member of the ZanAid team. Her expertise spans family medicine and the management of chronic conditions, including lifestyle-related and other non-communicable diseases. Having worked at the clinic for many years, she brings continuity and experience to the care of patients and families in Zanzibar.
